Hyderabad, Oct.28 (Hydnow): The Telangana High Court today dismissed the petitions file on the issue of the implementation of Dalitha Bandhu scheme of the State government in Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
A division bench headed by the Chief Justice of the state Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice A. Rajasekher Reddy made it clear that it would not interfere into the decisions of the Election Commission of India . It also made it clear that the EC had powers to take any decision in order to hold transparent elections.
Senior journalist Mallepally Lakshmaiah and Congress party leader Jadson filed the petitions urging the HC to set aside the orders of the EC suspending the implementation of the dalitha bandhu scheme. The EC issued the orders of the suspension of the implementation of the scheme on 18th of this month. (Hydnow)
