Hyderabad, July 21 (Hydnow): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said that Telangana is ahead in animal husbandry, fish, sheep and allied fields.
The government will make all efforts to be in forefront in these sectors, Harish Rao said.
He instructed that the officials take measures to release funds for fish, sheep and cattle development programs.

Along with ministers Srinivas Yadav and Indrakaran Reddy and officials Harish Rao held a review of dairy, cattle, fish and sheep development programs. He discussed on the related issues and said that the officials will take necessary measures. Telangana government is number one in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and others, he claimed.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has started unique schemes for the benefit of the farmers and others relying on the professions the minister said.
Earlier Srinivas Yadav has urged Harish to release funds for mobile fish and dairy outlets and push the related programs.

He said that dairy milk will be supplied in tetra packs to Anganwadi centres to supply nutrient food to pregnant women. Srinivas Yadav also said that dew arming programs have to be taken for weight gain of the cattle. (Hydnow)
