Hyderabad, Jan.26 (Hydnow): IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said that the state government will take steps to protect the interests of Tribals. He said that they will make efforts to restart CCI in erstwhile Adilabad district.
A team of Tribals met with the minister at Pragathi Bhavan here. They submitted a memorandum to the minister and urged steps to help them. The minister said that they will fight with the Centre for state rights and demands for development.
We will wage a fight and conduct protests against the Centre for denying support for development. The minister said that the government will ask the Centre to revive CCI in the previous Adilabad district. We will make a representation to the Centre to restart the CCI to provide employment, he said.
The minister said that the fight will continue until the Centre comes down and offers necessary support and gives funds for development. (Hydnow)
