Hyderabad, Dec.27 (Hydnow): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said that the Telangana government offers help for housing and marriage for poor in the state.
He warned that the government will seize the two bed room houses, if the beneficiaries sell them. Harish Rao inaugurated the remaining 168 units of 2 BHK in KCR Nagar Colony which provides housing for the poor in Narsapur in Siddipet district.
Harish Rao distributed the documents and keys of ownership to the beneficiaries. On the occasion, the minister has asked the new house owners not to sell their houses. It is the dream of the poor who gets free houses by Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao. House and marriage are important in our lives he said.
Like elderly brother or uncle, KCR offers support for the housing and marriage for poor families in Telangana the minister said. No other stare offers this type of welfare schemes Harish Rao claimed.
The owners of the new houses should abstain from selling the same and instead protect with cleanliness and greenery. The government is committed for welfare of the poor by spending g huge funds.
The Chief Minister offers the housing facility across the state for self respect of the poor, Harish Rao said. KCR keeps his promise of giving free houses to the poor he said. The Finance Minister informed that each house costs around Rs 8 to 9 lakhs. The same houses and it costs about Rs 40 lakhs to Rs 50 lakhs outside he said.
The Telangana Government has been completing such projects on a war footing he claimed. No other states in the country have similar housing facilities and the chief minister gets that credit, the finance minister said. Like an elder brother in a family, KCR offers marriage incentives of Rs 1 lakh towards poor girls’ marriage.
Besides giving pensions and KCR Kits has been a huge success as government hospitals are witnessing huge rush by common people he said. The 2 BHK gets all modern facilities like CC roads, power, water, and underground drainage system, gated community and security. (Hydnow)
