Hyderabad, June 16 (Hydnow): Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao today stated that the government is offering permanent shelter to poor people for self respect. The poor in the KCR Government are getting free houses in the Telangana state he said.
The Government will offer 4.7 lakh ration cards to poor families to get essential commodities in the state, he said. Along with minister V Prashanth Reddy, and other leaders and officials, KT Rama Rao has inaugurated two bedroom houses for the poor at Racharla Boppapur in Siricilla district.
The minister said that the lands are costly and the Government offer 2 BHK houses for the poor as promised. No other states in the country are giving such housing facility for the poor like Telangana he claimed. Credit for this will go to the Chief Minister who seeks to see happiness on the faces of the poor.
The TRS Government has been providing this housing facility free of cost for the poor KTR said. They are needless to pay a single rupee bribe to anyone for this housing facility, the minister said. Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has been implementing the flagship programs including 2 BHK and others for the poor.
They started the housing facility and offered related documents to the beneficiaries. The interacted with them and assured of all support besides suggesting to maintain the houses in clean and green environment.
The minister said that those who did not get the house should not worry as they can get it by applying afresh. KTR said that the government is ready to spend funds for development in the segment.
