Hyderabad, Aug.23 (Hydnow): State Government today released Rs 500 crore towards implementation of Dalit Bandhu program for Huzurabad segment in Karim Nagar district. With this the government has so far released Rs 1000 crore and another Rs 1000 cr to be released soon. Telangana SC Cooperative Development Corporation, VC and MD Karunakar issued orders through a cheque for release of Rs 500 crore.

The State government has launched Dalit Bandhu on a pilot project at Huzurabad by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao helping Dalit families develop.

Earlier it was launched in Vasalamarri village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district by the chief minister to benefit 76 SC families.

In a press release the government instructed the officials concerned to take necessary action to release the amount of Rs 500 crore for constituency development. The GO orders read that the government will release another Rs 1000 cr in week days.

The orders instructed the collector and other officials concerned to ensure that the amount is released on line for the development of the constituency. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has assured to release Rs 2000 crore for Huzurabad segment which is going to by-polls in near future. The chief minister has kept the promise of giving funds for the development of the segment and funds are getting released from time to time.

The Chief Minister has announced to develop Dalit community on par with other developed communities by spending about Rs 1 lakh crore and more.

The Opposition parties are crying foul on the TRS government for launching of Dalit Bandhu for winning the upcoming bypolls and demanding it for all over the state. The chief minister has already stated that the government is committed to develop the SCs to do their own businesses by using Rs 10 lakh and develop.

With the release of Rs 500 core more the Huzurabad constituency is set to get a facelift with more facilities of development. (Hydnow)
