Hyderabad, Feb.4 (Hydnow): Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar today said that the state government has made necessary arrangements for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the city on February 5.
The CS and DGP with other officials have made a visit to Muchintal Ashram of Chinna Jeeyar Ashram ahead of the visit of the Prime Minister. He expressed confidence that Muchintal Ashram of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy will become a major tourist attraction in the city and the state.
Somesh Kumar stated that Samatha Murty statue in the Ashram and Yadadri Lakshmi Narsimha Temple, which is ready to open, will become tourist spots in the state of Telangana, the CS said. The people will get all facilities for the tourism to these locations, he maintained.
The CS stated as per directions from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao they have made all arrangements for the prime minister during his city visit. We coordinated with other departments to ensure that the program at Shamshabad and ICRISAT to be a grand success.
DGP Mahender Reddy said that they have made tight security arrangements for the PM visit to the city. The city police in coordination with other departments have taken measures for smooth conduct of the events. We made arrangements for transportation, logistics, parking and others during the event, he said. The DGP said that the PM will be arriving at Shamshabad and visiting ICRISAT and Muchintal to attend the programs.
As per the schedule the PM is to attend Sahasrabdi Utsav of Ramanuja – the saint who preached equality, respect and peace about 1000 years ago. (Hydnow)
