Hyderabad: The discussions between Ministers Harish Rao, Gangula Kamalakar, Deputy Speaker Padmara Rao Gowd, and representatives of the Ration Dealers Association concluded successfully.
The ministers revealed that, as per CM KCR’s directive, the commission per metric ton for dealers will be raised from 900 to 1400 rupees.
This decision will benefit 17,227 dealers across the state. The ministers emphasized that Telangana is uniquely increasing the commission by 700 percent in a short period, setting it apart from other states.
ICASA leaders also shared that Ministers have positively responded to providing dealership opportunities to heirs of 100 dealers who succumbed to COVID-19, implementing a 5 lakh insurance scheme for dealers, and establishing weighbridges.
