Hyderabad, Oct.7 (Hydnow): IT Minister KT Rama Rao that State government has decided to build a 47 MLD capacity reservoir in LB Nagar Assembly constituency.
The reservoir will be built to solve the drinking water problem in Rythu Bazar, Vaidehi Nagar, Sachivalaya Nagar, Auto Nagar, Prashanti Nagar, Saheb Nagar and Vasavi Nagar areas of the Assembly segment.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that they were giving the drinking water to all colonies of the Assembly constituency under the Urban Mission Bhageeratha scheme.
He said that they had improved the drinking water supply by building 12 reservoirs comprising of 47.5 MLD capacity and laid 384 km length of pipeline at a cost of ₹313.26 crore in LB Nagar.
He said that they had taken up the Mission Bhageeratha scheme to prevent the problem of the drinking water under the leadership of CM KCR and added that they had completed the 95 percent of the works of the scheme.
The Minister said a Sewerage Master plan is prepared for the entire Hyderabad Urban Agglomeration up to Outer Ring Road including LB Nagar Consitutency by M/s Shah Technical Consultants, Mumbai. (Hydnow)
