Hyderabad, Aug. 4 (Hydnow): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundara Rajan has said that she needs more time to sign the Bill to merge TSRTC into the government.
The Governor has released a media note to this effect stating that she will take a decision after examining the legal issues. The TSRTC draft Bill reached the Raj Bhavan at 3.30 on August 2. The government sent the bill to the Raj Bhavan for introduction in the Assembly.
Meanwhile, the KCR government, which wanted to merge the TSRTC employees in the government in view of the upcoming assembly elections, has faced an unexpected development. The BRS government, which wanted to introduce the TSRTC Bill in the ongoing Assembly Session, faced an unexpected twist.
As it is a financial bill, the government has sent the Bill for the Governor’s approval, but the Governor’s approval has not been received so far. (Hydnow)
