Kanthamaneni Uma Maheswari, the daughter of a TDP founder and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, committed suicide on Monday.
Uma Maheshwari was found hanged in her Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, home. The youngest of NT Rama Rao’s 12 children was Maheswari.
The body has been moved by police to a nearby government hospital for an autopsy. A case has been reported, and further investigation is ongoing.

Umamaheswari reportedly has health issues that have been present for some time.
Former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari and former AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuwaneswari are sisters of Uma. She was the sister of TDP MLA and actor Balakrishna.
