To help needy during crises, Million Meals, an initiative by AVIS Hospitals through its Million Meals programme has so far provided food for over 2 lakh people.
As part of this, about 200 kits were distributed to the poor in the High Court area and in Mir Alam Mandi, 300 kits were distributed to the needy. MLA Muta Gopal and his team distributed 210 kits to cinema workers, auto drivers and the poor, a press release said.
Apart from that, kits were also distributed to Corona Warriors from the GHMC such as those from sanitation and garbage collection wings from Jubilee Hills and in Rehmat Nagar, Venkatagiri and Jubilee Hills.

Kits were distributed to the migrant labourers and residents of Yousufguda and also to the marginalised sections in Kothagudem.
Similar activities were carried out in Tribal villages of Utnoor, Adilabad, Srisailam and Etunagram and distribution of kits equivalent to 60,000 meals were provided, the release added.
