Hyderabad, Aug 12 (Hydnow): Union Minister for Culture and Tourism and Telangana BJP State President, G. Kishan Reddy criticized Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao for deceiving the people by not fulfilling the double bedroom promise given by the BRS government in the election manifesto.
Mahadharna program organized along with the BJP leaders at Indira Park in Hyderabad demanding distribution of double bedroom houses. He alleged that the Kalvakuntla family has run up a debt of Rs. 7 lakh crore by looting the state which has a surplus budget.
He accused the BRS MLAs, and MPs involved in land grabbing, sand mafia, and attacks on women. He said that they are asking for votes again without fulfilling any of the promises made in the last election. This time, people do not believe in BRS.
In the next 4 months, KCR will be confined to the farmhouse. He expressed confidence that the objective of state formation was not achieved during the KCR’s regime and that the BJP will come to power in Telangana in the next election and solve the problems of the people.
He said that KCR, who built Pragathi Bhavan for CM, quarters for ministers and MLAs, and MLA camp offices in constituencies, is unable to build houses for the poor. He said that to get houses for the poor, the KCR government should go and the double-engine government should come.
Kishan Reddy accused BRS leaders of collecting money from the poor for the double-bedroom houses built here and there in the state. He expressed concern that even the houses that were built intermittently in many places were not distributed to the poor.
He said that KCR has lost faith after waiting for the public double bedrooms that have been staying in rented houses for years. Kishan Reddy alleged that they are allotting houses only to those wearing a pink scarf.
In the election promise, it was announced that the government would help those who have their own land with Rs. 6 lakhs for the construction of their houses. He made it clear that the BJP will not stop its struggle until the constructed houses are allotted to the poor. (Hydnow)
