Hyderabad, October 30: Hyderabad District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has explained that everything has been prepared to conduct the upcoming assembly elections effectively. In the wake of the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana, Central Election Commission Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Nitesh Kumar Vyas, Director Election Ex-Pendature Pankaj Srivastava, along with Telangana CEOs and all district election officials reviewed the upcoming assembly election arrangements from New Delhi on Monday through video conference.
On this occasion, they said… Law and order at RO office, examination of affidavit during nomination, claim and objections, postal ballot, facilities in polling centers, distribution, reception centers, surveillance, release of seized amount in view of possible nominations from November 3. They asked the GHMC Commissioner and other district election officers along with the State CEO Additional and Joint CEOs about the working arrangements of the District Grievance Committee, liquor details, EVM randomization and other election arrangements.
On this occasion, the District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said on the arrangements for the Hyderabad district elections… 105 teams have been formed to monitor the constituency for 24 hours with three teams to catch cash, jewellery, liquor, ganja and intoxicants, and half of the team has been given adequate training. Mandini said that central forces have been formed. It has been explained that cash and jewelery not related to the election are investigated by the District Grievance Committee and handed over to the affected people. He said that out of 128 cases so far, 99 cases have been solved and 12 cases of seizure of more than 10 lakhs have been reported to IT.
Director Pankaj Srivastava said that the District Grievance Committee has been set up to ensure that the seized amount does not cause any inconvenience to the people. In this context, he ordered the district election officials to investigate and take steps for release on a daily basis so that the people do not suffer. They want to act transparently on the occasion of filing nomination from 3rd November. Actions should be taken to prevent law and order problems there. He said that the matter of affidavit should be examined carefully. They want to install CCTVs in the RO room and supervise the DEO. Apart from that, Senior Election Commissioner Nitish Kumar Vyas said that a correct wall clock should be installed outside the videography and audio RO office from time to time.
The commissioner explained that he has ordered to establish law and order and security arrangement police nodal officer in RO office by tomorrow. Apart from this, CC TV, videography and wall clocks will also be set up by the 31st of this month, and instructions will be issued to the ROs to examine the affidavit. It was explained that the EVMs were installed in the strong rooms set up in the constituency with police security. He said that the polling officers and staff required for the elections have been appointed and the first training has been given and a total of three trainings will be given. It is said that all the claim and objection have been disposed of by October 19. He said that along with the ballot paper, other documents related to the election will be printed. The District Election Officer of Hyderabad explained that stokars have been printed and distributed from house to house as suggested by the Election Commission for more voting registration. Similarly, distribution of Form-12D has also been completed as part of the process of voting at home for those above 80 years of age.
Ronald Ross explained to the officials of the Central Election Commission that he will take steps to make all the arrangements for the assembly elections as per the instructions of the Election Commission. .
