English Medium In Govt Schools is a Revolutionary Decision: Harish Rao

Sangareddy, Jan.23 (Hydnow): Health Minister T Harish Rao has termed the decision taken by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to introduce English medium in Government schools as a revolutionary one. Harish today held a review meeting at the collectorate here on Dalit Bandhu program.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that education will be imparted in Government schools on par with corporate institutions. He said the BJP leaders should explain why they are criticising the ‘Mana Badi — Maa vooru’ program.
Harish rao said tat Dalit Bandhu will be implemented for 100 dalits in each Assembly constituency. So far as Sangareddy district is concerned, funds for the program were already credited to the District collector’s account. Selection of beneficiaries will be completed in February first week and instructions were given to the officials to ground the units in the first week of March.
The Minister said the opposition leaders who had propagated that Dalit Bandhu will not be implemented after Huzurabad by-election should answer now. Funds would be allocated for the program in the coming Budget. (Hydnow)
