Hyderabad, Sept.21 (Maxim News): BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today warned chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao not to create any fear in farmers with his threats in purchasing of their products.
Sanjay was addressing a public meeting at Nizamsagar cross road in Kamareddy district on his 25th day of Praja Sangram Yatra after travelling 300 km .
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently asked farmers to go for alternative crop instead of paddy blaming that the central government was not eager to purchase paddy, he said adding that the centre had agreed to purchase 60 lakh tonnes of paddy. But the state government is unable to purchase 20 lakh tonnes to meet the demand of state people, Sanjay alleged.
CM KCR is now hesitating to purchase maize from the farmers, he said and warned that the BJP would siege farmhouse if the former failed to purchase farmers’ products in the state. The podu farmers problems are not yet solved and party would continue its fight in support of podu farmers, he said.
Stating that KCR is deceiving people particularly farmers in the name of Dharni portal, Sanjay said farmers are unable to get crop loans and benefits of Rytu bandhu due to not issuing of new passbooks of their lands.
The BJP chief alleged that KCR has not fulfilled a single promise made to people of Kamareddy before elections. The BJP has launched this yatra to mitigate problems and provide justice to the people, he asserted and said both TRS and Congress are trying to divert the attention of people from his successful yatra and other main issues by rising drug issue.
