A doctor treating Covid-19 patients returned home to a heartwarming welcome after 20 days of duty in the ICU department of a hospital. The woman broke down in tears after her family and society members welcomed her with placards, banging thaalis and showering flower petals.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the emotional clip on Twitter. “Moments like this fill the heart with happiness. This is the spirit of India. We will courageously fight Covid-19. We will remain eternally proud of those working on the frontline,” he wrote.

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal also shared the clip and called it a “fitting welcome for a corona warrior.”
Netizens loved the video and flooded the comments section to salute the frontline hero. “This!!! This is what we need right now! For doctors, healthcare professionals and the police, to be treated like the legends they are,” a user commented. “Salute to the lady doctor for her extraordinary work for the country and society too,” wrote another user.
