Nizamabad/Hyderabad, May 13 (Hydnow): Elections for the 17th Lok Sabha are underway in Telangana state. Voters are coming to the polling booths in large numbers from 7 am on Monday to exercise their right to vote.
Nizamabad BJP candidate Dharmapuri Arvind visited polling booths in minority areas. He criticized the officials for failing to identify minority women voters. He questioned the election staff as to how they identify genuine voters wearing hijab and masks.
Arvind expressed his anger at what the police are doing when there are groups of people outside the polling booths. The protestors expressed their anger that the police were feeding the Congress party with a spoon. (Hydnow)
