Hyderabad, Aug.21 (Hydnow): Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya on Wednesday alleged that the state government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao rejected his proposal to gift the city based ESI medical college during his term as the union minister of state for labour and employment. He claimed that the college was inaugurated due to his efforts as the minister.
Dattatreya made these remarks while addressing a gathering after the inauguration of the hospital buildings attached to the ESI medical college. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the college was built at a cost of Rs.1000 crore by the central government. He hoped that the medical college would become number one medical college in the entire country. (Hydnow)
