Hyderabad, Dec.13 (Hydnow): Cyberabad CP VC Sajjanar today inaugurated a Blue Planet auditorium, a virtual platform that can connect to different parts of the world for training, at Medicover in the city.
A book on Long-Standing Heart Blood Vessel Occlusion Cases (DECODING CTO) was also launched on the occasion . The book is a compilation of the most complex cases aimed at imparting knowledge in the field authored by Dr. Sharath Reddy and Dr. Anil Krishna, Senior Interventional Cardiologists of the Medicover Hospitals. The book was unveiled by Dr. P Sampath Kumar to help trainees and cardiologists to understand the various aspects of the complexity of the cases.
Speaking at the function, Sajjanar complimented Medicover Hospitals for investing and imparting training and education not only to their employees but also to the healthcare professionals across India and the third world countries. He expressed hope that Medicover would go a long way in the field of research to raise the bar of the healthcare in the days to come. He was particularly appreciative of the role played by the Medicover during the critical phase of the Covid 19 pandemic.
He expressed gratitude on behalf of the police fraternity for the help and care extended during the crisis by the hospitals. He reiterated that many lives of the police personnel were saved by the prompt and timely action taken by the Medicover Hospitals. Saying Medicover has risen to the occasion, Cyberabad CP felicitated the Medicover Hospital personnel for the exceptional role played during the pandemic. Dr. Krishna Prasad, the Senior Consultant, CT surgeon of the Medicover Group commented that training had been an integral part of the organization.
