Amaravathi, June 15 (Hydnow): A high level review meeting under chairmanship of State assembly speaker Tammineni Seetharam was held in city to discuss on issue of organization of budget session of state.
The meeting has some crucial decision on the holding of the budget session and provision of security. The chairman of state legislative council MA Shareef, State Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, DGP Gautam Sawang, special chief secretary of health department of the state KS Jawahar Reddy, Chief whip of the state government Srikanth Reddy, Whips srinivasulu Udayabhanu, Kapu Ramachandra Reddy and other officials of the state government took part in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, speaker Seetharam said that they had taken special precautions to hold the budget session by keeping in view of the covid 9 pandemic in the state. He said that they were sanitizing all the seats in the assembly and council. He also said that they had made arrangements to hold tests on all the members of the two houses of the state legislature. He said that they had decided to not allow anybody except the members into the house. Seetharam also said that the governor of the state would address the joint session of the house through video conference. He said that they were holding the session by including the rule of social distance as well. (Hydnow)
