Senior BJP leader Chintala Ramachandra Reddy tested positive for Covid-19 infection and is admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills. The BJP leader was brought to the hospital on Sunday with typical symptoms of SARS-CoV-2, prompting attending doctors to collect his swab samples and send them for coronavirus testing.
With test results of Ramachandra Reddy coming Covid-19 positive, his close contacts including wife and son were also admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills on Monday and their test results are expected to arrive by the end of the day. Hospital officials said that Ramachandra Reddy was in a stable condition.
