Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 2,261 new Covid-19 infections and 18 fatalities on Thursday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,331 and the total number of positive cases to 5,85,489. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday evening, stood at 32,579.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, authorities conducted 1,10,169 Covid rapid tests of which results of 1,198 samples are awaited. On Thursday, 3,043 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 93.86 per cent. So far, a total of 1,54,89,213 Covid tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,85,489 have tested positive and 5,49,579 persons have recovered.
The Covid positive cases reported from the districts included 10 cases from Adilabad, 108 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 279 from areas under GHMC, 55 from Jagtial, 25 from Jangaon, 35 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 29 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 11 from Kamareddy, 101 from Karimnagar, 142 from Khammam, 17 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 83 from Mahabubnagar, 75 from Mahabubabad, 81 from Mancherial, 22 from Medak, 127 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 31 from Mulugu, 42 from Nagarkurnool, 160 from Nalgonda, 14 from Narayanpet, eight from Nirmal, 28 from Nizamabad, 96 from Peddapalli, 37 from Rajanna Siricilla, 142 from Rangareddy, 53 from Sangareddy, 91 from Siddipet, 84 from Suryapet, 52 from Vikarabad, 51 from Wanaparthy, 48 from Warangal Rural, 84 from Warangal Urban and 40 from Yadadri Bhongir.
