Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 3 (Hydnow): Cases of Corona sub-Variant JN 1 are increasing all over the country. Covid sub-variant JN-1 positive cases are being reported. Medical officials said that in the last 24 hours, 511 new coronavirus cases have been reported in India.
Highest number of cases reported in Karnataka with 199, followed by Kerala 148, Goa 47, Gujarat 36, Maharashtra 32, Tamil Nadu 26, Delhi 15, Rajasthan 4, Telangana 2, Odisha 1. Haryana has reported one case of COVID-19. But doctors say it is not that dangerous.
According to data released by the Ministry of Health, 511 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the country, taking the total number of active cases to 4,565.
Meanwhile, five more corona cases were reported in the Visakhapatnam district on Tuesday. A total of 83 people were tested and five were diagnosed with the virus. With them, the total number of cases has reached 43. Currently, there are 30 active cases in the district. 25 of them are in home isolation while five are receiving treatment in a hospital. Officials are suggesting that everyone should be vigilant given the increasing number of Covid cases. They want to wear masks when going to markets and crowded places. (Hydnow)
