Hyderabad, Aug 27 (Hydnow): Congress is making all-out efforts to go with the Left parties. As part of this, information is being received that Manik Rao Thackeray, in charge of state affairs of the Congress, has called and spoken to the top leaders of the CPI and CPM parties.
Thackeray seems to be holding secret talks with CPI leaders.
It seems that several Congress leaders have told the high command that if they go along with the communists, BRS can be dealt a blow in many places in the next elections and that the left parties do not have the ability to win, but they have the ability to defeat them. It seems that they have brought to the notice of the high command that the vote bank of the communists in the constituencies of the state is likely to turn positive for Congress and negative for the BRS.
The Communists, who were disturbed by KCR’s announcement of the first list of BRS with 115 people without resolving the issue of alliance with them, seem to be interested in moving towards the Congress. Talk is being heard that those parties intend to take revenge with Congress on BRS that used them in the past.
Congress seems to be interested in alliance with comrades. After the handover of BRS, CPM focused on elections and alliances. As part of this, the CPM Party State Committee meeting was held today. On the other hand, it seems that Manik Rao Thackeray has called CPI leaders for discussions. It is being reported that the comrades are saying that there will be an alliance only if the seats are settled first.
There are reports that the Left parties are asking Congress for the Assembly seats of Paleru, Kothagudem, Husnabad, Bellampally, Miryalaguda, Munugode, and Devarakonda. It seems that the CPI has asked for 4 seats. It seems that the Congress party is willing to give two seats to the CPI and two to the CPM. However, there are many pessimists in the Congress party as well. Will the Congress party give the seats that the left parties are asking for? remains to be seen. (Hydnow)
