Hyderabad, Dec 4 (Hydnow): Congress-elected MLAs have decided that the decision has been left to the party High Command for the selection of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader.
In this connection, they have unanimously passed the resolution at the CLP meeting. this resolution was introduced by TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy and was supported by Bhatti Vikaramarka, Seethakka, Sridhar Babu, and three other MLAs. Observer DK Shiva Kumar told the media that this resolution will be communicated to the High Command and the decision of the High Command will be conveyed.
DK Siva Kumar said that the resolution was passed expressing gratitude to the people of the state who entrusted the confidence of the Congress party in the Election. He explained that they have learned the opinion of the MLAs on the selection of CLP leader will be handed over to AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge. The MLAs said in the resolution that they will abide by Kharge’s decision.
The CLP meeting which lasted for almost an hour ended. The meeting was held at “Hotel Ella’ in Gachibowli. All the MLAs who won were present at this important meeting.
Manikrao Thackeray in-charge of state Congress affairs, TPCC President Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodara Raja Narasimha, Seethakka, Konda surekha and many senior leaders participated. Along with DK. Siva Kumar, Deepdas Munshi, George, Ajay, and Muralidharan were present as AICC observers. (Hydnow)
