Hyderabad, July 27 (Hydnow): Chalo Raj Bhavan program of the Congress Party leaders to protest against the immoral politics of ruling BJP at the Center to destabilise its elected government Rajasthan was foiled by the state police today. The police took cordoned off the entire party headquarters of the congress Gandhi Bhavan to prevent the exit of the party leaders. Angered at this, the party leaders of the state today staged a sit in program condemning the attitude of the police.
They raised slogans against rival BJP and alleged that the saffron party was hatching conspiracy to topple its party led government in Rajasthan. The party MP A.Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, former pcc chief V.Hanumantha Rao, GHMC party president anjan kumar Yadav and other party leaders took part in the protest program.
Speaking on the occasion MP A.Revanth Reddy said that the attitude of the BJP was nothing but to murder democracy. He alleged that the saffron party was trying to topple the congress party led government in Rajasthan by buying their party MLAs. He also alleged that the BJP was also threatening the public representatives by conducting raids with the help of CBI, Income tax and ED. He demanded the governor of Rajasthan to convene the assembly session of the state on July 31 of this month and added that there should be a discussion on the policies of the BJP in the house. He said that they had organised nationwide protests on the issue.
CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka alleged that CM KCR was trying to spread Covid 19 virus among the opposition party leaders. He termed KCR as the biggest conspirator while noting that it was KCR wished his critics should get coronavirus. He said that the CM was arresting those who are criticising him. He alleged that no sanitisation was being done in police stations and police vehicles. He said that the police should sanitise their vehicles before arresting the leaders.
The police arrested Revanth Reddy and Vikramarka and other leaders When they came out of the Gandhi Bhavan to go towards Raj Bhavan and took them to Begum Bazar Police station. (Hydnow)
