Jagdalpur/Hyderabad, Oct 3 (Hydnow): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lashed out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s demand to have more rights for people with a large population and to conduct a caste census across the country. He accused the Congress party of trying to destroy the country by dividing the Hindus.
Speaking at a rally held in Jagdalpur of Bastar district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said that the Congress party has received a new refrain.
“Congress leaders have taken a new tune that the majority of the population should have more rights. I would like to say that the poor population is the most in the country. Most of the people in the country are poor. their welfare is my goal, Modi said.
He pointed out that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that the first right of the country’s resources belongs to the minorities and Muslims have the first right, and now the Congress party is demanding rights and shares on the basis of population. Accordingly, does Congress want to suppress the rights of minorities? If rights are to be decided on the basis of population, will Hindus who are the most populous stand up for all the rights? Modi asked.
He said, that the Congress party is not being run by the Congress people, the senior leaders are gloating, they are not questioning what this is, they are not even daring to speak. (Hydnow)
