Hyderabad, Aug.13 (Hydnow): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said on Friday that collaborative efforts in development are vital for the self-reliance of the country.
She said that public sector, private sector and other agencies need to take up synchronous efforts so as to realize the goal of Self-Reliant India.
The Governor was virtually addressing the “India@75 Week: A special focus session on Puducherry-2022,” from the Raj Bhavan, here.
The Governor called for the sustained efforts to ensure pollution- free cities and promoting the use of clean energy, while supporting the MSMEs and ensuring effective service delivery systems at all levels.
“We need to adopt sustainable models of growth and development across the sectors in order to contribute for the self- reliance at all levels,” she added.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan stated that though the pandemic was a crisis, we must turn it into an opportunity through innovation and research.
The Governor appreciated the CII for their contribution and efforts in improving the healthcare infrastructure during the COVID-19 pandemic.
