Warangal tour of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been cancelled. However, agriculture minister Niranjan Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other officials will continue their visit to Parakala and Narsampet today to interact with the farmers who suffered crop loss following the recent rains in the state.
The Chief Minister decided to visit Warangal after the minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao posted the matter of severe crop loss to the CM who decided to inspect the crops and console the farmers.
But the CM’s tour was cancelled for some reasons. Meanwhile, the CM assured to provide all the help to the crop loss farmers from the government.
On Monday, the CM held a cabinet meeting and discussed about the farmers whose crops were laid down due to the rainfall in Kharif season.
The CM was told the paddy procurement in the state has reached the final stage but was delayed due to the rains in the last week.
In the cabinet meeting, several key decisions like introducing English medium in government schools, fees regulation in educational institutions have been taken by the government.
