Hyderabad, July 31 (Hydnow): Former Minister Dr. J. Geeta Reddy today lashedCM KCR Was Trying to Cheat Dalits of State: Geeta Reddyout at the chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and alleged that the CM was trying to cheat the Dalits of the state in the name of implementation of Dalit Bandhu scheme. She also alleged that none of the promises made by the CM to the Dalits were fulfilled by him so far. She said that the CM had retracted from his statement making a Dalit leader as the first CM of Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons she said that the CM had also not revealed the reason behind the removal of the party MLA TS Rajaiah from the post of the deputy CM of the state. She alleged that the CM had also not implemented his promise of changing the existing SC ST sub plan and added that the CM had spent only Rs.47000 crore as against the allocated Rs.85,000 crore . She said that none were aware of the remaining Rs.38, 000 crore. She wondered as to how the Dalits of the state should believe KCR, who had not spent money in the SC ST Sub plan. She alleged that the GOs issued by the CM for the welfare of the SCs were confined to only papers.
She said that the state government had distributed only 16000 acres of land to 6662 SC families as against the eligible 3 lakh families. (Hydnow)
