Hyderabad, Aug.15 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said Tirunagari Ramanujam is a great literary personality about whom the entire Telangana society. The Chief Minister opined that Ramanujam would remain as the literary heir to Maha Kavi Dasaradhi. The CM presented Dasaradhi Award for 2020 to Ramanujam at Pragathi Bhavan here on Saturday. The CM presented Ramanujam with a memento, Shawl and a cash prize of Rs 1,01,116. The CM said Ramanujam deserves the Dasaradhi award cent percent. He said Bala Veera Sathakam, Aksharadhara, Tirunagareeyam written by Ramanujam became very popular.
The CM appreciated Ramanujam for his grip on traditional and Sanskrit literatures as well as his knowledge about the modern literature. Blend of traditional and modern literature that what makes Ramanujam stand out. The CM hoped that Ramanujam would continue to contribute more to enrich the Telugu literary world.
