Hyderabad, Sept.7 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today hailed the services rendered by the TRS Party former MLA Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy who died recently due to ill health. He termed Reddy as a modest leader and added that his former colleague had sacrificed his life in the service of the people of the state. He made these remarks while addressing the house after introducing a condolence motion on his death.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he was pained to introduce the motion on Ramalinga Reddy and added that he never thought in his slight imagination that he would be forced to do so. Recalling the services of Reddy, he said that the former Dubbaka MLA was born in a Farmer’s family and added that he was attracted to public agitations from a very young age.
KCR said that Reddy had married without taking any dowry and added that he and Kaloji performed Ramalinga Reddy’s marriage. He said that Reddy also had a special place in the field of journalism and added that he had worked for solving the problems faced by the journalists of the state. KCR said that he had known Rama Linga Reddy even before he became the MLA in the year 2004. The CM said that the house was paying rich tributes to the departed MLA. (Hydnow)
