Hyderabad, Sept.4 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. KCR has appealed to the Home Minister to extend necessary support for Telangana development. He urged the home minister to offer support for roads and infrastructure in naxal infested districts and other regions in Telangana.
He apprised the home minister of several welfare schemes and development programs being taken up in the state. The Chief Minister expressed hope that the Centre will release funds for state development.
The Chief Minster who is in Delhi on a three-day tour had already called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought his support for state development.
During his meeting with Modi, KCR has urged for a piece of land for construction of an office for Telangana Bhavan, sought some educational institutions.
He already laid a foundation for TRS party office Telangana Bhavan at Vasanth Vihar near metro station in Delhi on September 2. As his three –day completed successfully, the TRS Supremo may get back to Hyderabad on Saturday. (Hydnow)
