Vijayawada, Oct.12 (Hydnow): Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today visited the city based Kanaka Durga temple and performed special prayers.
He also presented silk clothes on behalf of the state government to the presiding deity on the occasion.
The Temple authorities have accorded a warm welcome to the CM during his visit.
Earlier, the CM visited Tirumala temple as part of Salakatla Brahmotsvalu and performed Prayers at the presiding deity of the temple.
The TTD chairman and EO welcomed the CM into the temple. He later launched Kannada and Hindi TV channels of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti channel.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by State Ministers Kodali Nani, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Venkampally Srinivas, Narayana Swami, Anil kumar Yadav and Gautam Reddy. (Hydnow)
