Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed shock over the demise of TRS former MLA Kaveti Sammaiah. The CM recalled the services rendered by Sammaiah and conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family. The CM prayed to God to rest the departed soul in peace.
Sammaiah (68) the former Sirpur Kagaznagar MLA passed away due to prolonged illness in Kagaznagar on Tuesday. Sammaiah who was elected twice for the state legislature in 2009 and 2010 lost the 2014 elections. Since then he stayed away from active politics.
Minister for Agriculture Singireddy Niranjan Reddy in a separate statement also expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Sammaiah. He recalled his association with the departed soul during the Telangana statehood agitation and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy , Minister for Sports V Srinivas Goud , Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy, Government whip in Assembly Balka Suman and legislative Affairs Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy also offered their condolences to the bereaved family.
