Hyderabad, Dec.6 (Hydnow): In its third edition of the Performance Excellence Awards, CII awarded the top solar and wind plants in the country during CII’s flagship event on Renewable energy, Green Power Conference and Exposition 2020.
On the whole, 29 best performing plants have been awarded under three categories: Ground Mounted Solar , Wind, and Rooftop Solar Categories.
15 plants were awarded under Ground mounted Solar, 8 plants in wind and 6 plants in rooftop solar. These plants were shortlisted from around 70 applications received by CII.

L.S. Ganapati, Chairman, CII Performance Excellence Awards 2020, congratulated all the participating companies and observed that the best practices employed by the companies would result in improving the quality of Renewable energy plants across the country. Mr L S Ganapati has been assisted in shortlisting and awarding the companies by a senior panel of judges who are veterans in the solar and wind sector.
Dr Arun Tripathi, Director General, National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) was the Chief Guest at this Award programme and he congratulated all the winners. Ramesh Kymal, Chairman, Renewable Energy Council, CII also present at the awards program. (Hydnow)
