Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ‘Centre-State Science Conclave’ is an example of our ‘Sab Ka Prayas’ mantra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Centre-State Science Conclave through video conference.
This conclave will be held for two days at Science City, Ahmedabad.
But for the first time, this program is being organized under the name Center-State Science Conclave. All the states except Jharkhand and Bihar participated in this program, Prime Minister Modi said.
Through this program, the participation of industries, young scientists, and inventors can be brought. Modi said that India is leading the fourth industrial revolution and the role of people in this field is very important for the development of science in India.
Prime Minister Modi said that we should celebrate the achievements of our scientists, science becomes part of our culture only when we know our scientists and their inventions.
On this occasion, Modi said that our government is moving forward with a science-based development perspective.
He said that investments in science and technology have increased since 2014 and due to the efforts of the government, India has moved from 81st position to 46th position in the Global Innovation Index in 2015.
Modi said today’s youth are getting used to technology quickly. In this Amrit Call, the Prime Minister called us to make India a global center of research and innovation.
