Hyderabad, Sept.20 (Hydnow): TRS MP K Keshava Rao today termed the agriculture bill passed in Rajya Sabha amid uproarious scenes as direct assault on states’ rights and the constitution.
Talking in the house during its session that saw chaos as the opposition members stormed the podium as some of the Trinamul MPs were seen tearing the bills, Dr Keshava Rao has accused the BJP Government of indulging in sabotaging against the farmers of the country.
The move of passing the three bills will only deprive the states of their rights in the farm sector, he said.
The TRS leader lashed out at the Modi Government for the bill which paves way for corporate honchos and private bigwigs. The bill will not only assault on the rights of the farmers and the constitution but also against the federal spirit he averred. However the BJP Chief JP Nadda has thanked the house and Modi Government for passing of the farmers bill will hel[ great benefits to th farmers in future.
Modi has already reiterated that the NDA Government is coming up with the farmers bills to help them get benefits by selling their produce at any place in the country. He accused the opposition parties of indulging in false campaign and misguiding the farmers. (Hydnow)
