Hyderabad, Dec 13 (Hydnow): A case has been registered against former minister Ch. Malla Reddy in connection with the complaint received that Tribal lands have been encroached upon.

The Police have registered a case of SC, ST Atrocity against Mallareddy at Shamirpet Police Station. In the complaint, the victims claimed that 47 acres were encroached upon. There are allegations that registration was done overnight during the election. In this order, after receiving a complaint against MRO and Mallareddy, the police registered cases under four sections. A 420 cheating case has been registered against Mallareddy along with 9 of his followers. 

According to Shamirpet Police Inspector, former minister Mallareddy and his 9 benami followers illegally occupied the 47 acres and 18 guntas of ST (Lambadi) heritage land in survey numbers 33, 34, 35 of Kesavaram village, Chintalapalli mandals of Medchal Malkajgiri district and took possession of the land by fraud and conspiracy. A complaint has been registered at Shamirpet Police Station.

The police who investigated the former minister, his followers, Srinivas Reddy, a relative of Mallareddy, Gone Hari Mohan Reddy, husband of the former sarpanch of Keshavpur village, Vice Chairman of Shamirpet Mandal Agricultural Cooperative Society, Vice chairman of Shamirpet Mandal Agricultural Cooperative Seva Sangham, Ramidi Madhukar Reddy Sivadu, Sneha Ramireddy, Ramidi Lakshmamma and Ramidi Neha Reddy at Shamirpet Police station. (Hydnow
