Case Filed Against BJP MP Navneet Rana For Her Statements

Hyderabad, May 11 (Hydnow): The Saidabad Police registered a case against BJP MP Navneet Rana for her provocative statements of 15-second comments against the Owaisi brothers.

A criminal case has been filed against Navneet Rana by the police on the complaint lodged by C. H. Rakesh who serves as the Flying Squad Team in charge of the Yakutpura Assembly segment. He reported that Navneet was reacting to Akbaruddin Owaisi’s comments made 13 years ago that if police are silent for 15 minutes we will take on 100 crore Hindus.

Similarly, Navneet Rana said we just need 15 seconds for action against the Owaisi brothers. Navneet Rana, the BJP MP Candidate from Amaravati, Maharashtra, allegedly made a statement that was considered incendiary and could potentially disrupt the electoral process. She was campaigning in Hyderabad for BJP candidate Madhavi Latha.

Based on the complaint, Inspector of Police Raghavender registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including sections 505(2), 506, 171(C), 171(F), and 171(G), which pertain to statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred, or ill-will between classes, criminal intimidation and undue influence at elections.

This incident follows a previous case booked by Shadnagar police against Navneet Rana for stating voting for Congress is voting for Pakistan. (Hydnow)
