Hyderabad, Oct.30 (Hydnow): The railway police from the state today seized 8 kgs of cannabis at Secunderabad railway station. The banned drug was found in Konark express.
The police have also arrested six accused of transporting the cannabis. The police said that the accused were transporting the cannabis Odisha and Mumbai from Vizag agency areas.
In another development , the railway police have arrested two accused of bag lifting crime. The accused used to open the bags of the passengers in trains and decamp with valuable gold and other ornaments.
The police have seized 12 kgs of gold ornaments ₹1 lakh cash and three cell phones from the possession of the accused . (Hydnow)
