Hyderabad, Feb 1 (Hydnow): BRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao took oath as an MLA in the Speaker’s Chamber of the Assembly. He was administered the oath by Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar.
Later, the leader of the Opposition offered prayers in the chamber and took charge as the leader of Opposition. The program was attended by BRS MLAs and former ministers.
KCR contested from Gajwel and Kamareddy constituencies in last year’s Assembly elections, lost in Kamareddy and won against BJP leader Etala Rajender from Gajwel. This is the third time that KCR has been elected as a legislator from Gajwel.
KCR was admitted to the hospital after he accidentally slipped his leg and fractured his hip bone before the Assembly Session held in December last year.
After that, KCR has been resting at his residence in nandinagar for some time now as per the advice of doctors due to a hip operation. He recently recovered, he came to the Assembly today with the help of a stick and took an oath. (Hydnow)
