Hyderabad, Dec.8 (Hydnow): In response to Telangana government solidarity for farmers Bharat Bandh, Finance Minister T Harish Rao today staged a protest at Thupran highway here.

On the occasion the minister hit out at the Modi Government in the Centre for anti- farmers laws. The minister called upon all villages to make unanimous resolutions against the farm laws of the Centre. The Modi government has dumped the 53 year old previous farm act which offered to give MSP to farm produce. The governments did not go long for its anti-farmers policies, the minister deplored.

The government will wash away if it continues to resort anti-farm laws and help corporate companies Harish Rao alleged. He was critical that the centre has conspired against the farmers and to help business and corporate companies. Our government will continue support to farmers in this regard the minister said.

He asked the people to come out in support of the farmers. KCR government took a decision to oppose these draconian laws and pressure to be mounted. The farm protests reached 13th day and the centre is in no mood to end the stalemate, he deplored. The government will collapse for its anti- people laws and policies, he added. (Hydnow)
