Hyderabad, June 10 (Hydnow): A delegation of BJP headed by former minister Motkupally Narsimhulu met with CMD of SPDCL and submitted a representation to him urging him to reduce increased power charges. The party MLC N. Ramchandra Rao was also part of the delegation.
Speaking to media persons later, Motukupally said that the people of the state were not in a position to pay the increased power charges due to the ongoing lockdown as they did not come out of their houses. He asked the state government as to how the people would pay the huge amount of the power charges. Talking about corona virus issue, he demanded the state government to treat all corona virus positive patients.
Ramachandra Rao alleged that the consumers had got two times more power bills than the normal bills in the state. He demanded the state government to waive off all the bills. He said that it was not good to trouble the poor people of the state in the issue. (Hydnow)
