Hyderabad, July 27 (Hydnow): Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) called upon devotees to celebrate upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi by strictly following all Covid 19 guidelines. The General Secretary of organisation Bhagvanth Rao urged the state government to make all arrangements for the peaceful performance of prayers by the devotees during the nine day long celebrations.
Addressing media persons at Somajiguda press club rao said that mass immersion of the Ganesh Idols was not possible on September 1 and urged the devotees to celebrate the festival by maintaining social distance. He also asked them to conduct idol immersion program a all the natural water bodies with fewer number of devotees. He urged them to not compete with each other about the height of the idols besides urging them to confine the number of the devotees at all Ganesh pandals to just 4 to 5 people.
He asked the devotees to use sanitizers and face masks throughout the celebrations. He urged the state government to come to the rescue of the idol makers and those who eke out their livelihood on the Ganesh chaturdhi celebrations. (Hydnow)
