Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 9 (Hydnow): The Election Commission of India has announced the poll dates for the upcoming Assembly elections in five states – Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Mizoram during a press conference here on Monday. The Election Code of Conduct has come into force with immediate effect.
The Assembly Election will take place in Telangana on November 30. The Notification will be issued on November 3 while the last date for making nominations is on November 13. the counting will be on December 3 and the results will be declared on the same day of counting.
According to the Election Schedule for Telangana for all the 119 Assembly constituencies, the notification will be issued on November 3 from which date the nomination can be filed and will continue to November 10. Scrutiny of nominations is November 13 and the last date for withdrawal of candidatures is November 15.
The polling date is November 30, the Date of counting is December 3, and the electioneering process will be completed by December 5. (Hydnow)
