Arrest Vehicle Owners in Minor’s Gang Rape Case: Revanth Demands CP

Not A Lakh, We Will Waive Off Rs. 2 Lakh Loans Of Farmers: Revanth

Hyderabad, June 8 (Hydnow): TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy today demanded that city police commissioner CV Anand also arrest the vehicle owners of Toyota Innova and Mercedes Benz cars, which were used in the commission of gang rape on a minor under Jubilee Hills police station limits.

Speaking to media persons at New Delhi, Revanth alleged that the CP was trying to hide the names of the owners of the vehicles, which were responsible for the heinous crime. He asked the CP as to why he was hiding the details of the owner of the government vehicle, which was used for the commission of the offence?

He also asked the CP as to why they did not seize the Innova vehicle until June 4, 2022 although the crime took place on May 28 last month. He alleged that the police were trying to erase all the evidences in the case in order to protect the actual accused in the case.

Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his son K Tarakarama Rao, he alleged that the father and son duo had turned the city into a poisonous city instead of a global city. He said he had been fighting against the drugs menace in the State for a long time.

He said the number of pubs had gone up in the city after KCR became the Chief Minister of State. He asked KCR as to why he was silent on the issue of rapes on minor girls of Telangana.

He claimed that the ruling party and its ally MIM leaders were behind all the murders, land encroachments and rape cases. He warned the State government that the Congress party would not be mute spectator if there was a damage to the image of Hyderabad and added that they would launch physical attacks on those who are responsible for all kinds of anti- social activities with the help of their Youth Congress wing activists.
