Hyderabad, September 13 (Hydnow): City Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi chaired the standing committee meeting on Wednesday. The mayor said that the committee members approved 10 items in this meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi ordered the officials to resolve the issues raised by the members as soon as possible. Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi asked the corporators to educate the public not to dump construction waste in unauthorized places and also to participate in the distribution of clay idols.
On this occasion, Commissioner Ronald Rose said that construction and demolition wastes are being dumped on roads, footpaths, canals, and ponds in unauthorized places. The commissioner said that there would be no difficulties in taking construction waste to the C&D plant. The commissioner said that 3.10 lakh idols made of clay will be distributed by the GHMC and 90 thousand by the Pollution Control Board, and a total of 4 lakh idols will be distributed on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. 2800 to 3 thousand idols will be distributed to the ward from the ward office. Commissioner Ronald Rose explained to the members that it will be formally launched on the 15th of this month at the Hyderabad District Collector’s office.

*Standing Committee Resolutions*
1. Approval of the committee for GHMC permission to take up CC road inside Ranky Pearl with their own funds through the CSR method under Ranky Pearl Welfare Association of Kukat Palli Zone Ward No. 124 Circle No. 24 Alwin Colony.
2. In Serilingampally Mandal Gopannapalli Revenue Village Survey No. 34 of 4350 yards of alienated land in approximately one acre (4850 square yards) for the construction of an animal shelter center and cattle hospital in the CSR method, the Ranky Foundation has come forward to undertake this land with their own funds to District Collector Rangareddy to allot that land to GHMC. Recommended. Moreover, the committee approves the agreement to the Zonal Commissioner for the establishment of the hospital within a period of 6 months from the date of agreement in the year 2023-24.
3. Approval of administrative permission for construction of box drain, VDCC road from DRDL defense wall to Maqbool Pawnshop, adjacent to Bismillah Hotel M Block, C Block through Reach 1 in Hafiz Baba Nagar, Chandrayanagutta at a cost of Rs.5.40 crores.
4. Approval of the Committee to undertake construction of box drain and VDCC road from DRDL wall in Chandrayanagutta Hafiz Pate Nagar to Maqbool Hotel at a cost of Rs.5.40 lakhs through Reach 2.
5. Standing Committee for taking up Inner Ring Road from Chandrayanagutta Junction Barkas Road to Kandikal Gate undertaken by SRDP on 12.10.2017, resolution no. 5, as per Council resolution 167 dated 7-12-2018 Rs. 37 crores while the administration has sanctioned the revised estimated cost for acquiring the required land at Rs. Committee approval to undertake works with 47 crores.
6. Approval of the committee to transfer some head of account in the financial year 2022-23 to the section where the remaining funds have been spent more than the allocation and re-allocation in the same section.
7. Approval of the Income Expenditure Report received by the GHMC for the month of July 31, 2023.
8. Corridor 99 Missing Link Road through Road Development Plan to widen 18 feet road via closed river via water treatment plan to report to the government including in the master plan and approval of the committee for the acquisition of 21 properties.
9. Approval for construction of first-floor function hall, second-floor dining hall, lift, toilets, and compound wall in multi-purpose function hall to be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs.330 lakhs in circle 17th ward number 100 Kailash Nagar.
10. Approval of the committee to undertake the development and conservation of Maisamma Kunta in Manikonda Survey No. 193 of Gandipet Mandal through the CSR method to be undertaken by Divya Sri Tech Park Private Limited with their own funds. (Hydnow)
