Ranga Reddy/Hyderabad, Aug 15 (Hydnow): There was a tense atmosphere in front of the gate of Sri Chaitanya College under the Adibalta Police limit. The ABVP leaders demanded an inquiry into the death of student Gautham, and ABVP leaders who tried to enter the college were arrested by the Police.
Gautham (15), a student of Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy, Bonguluru, Ranga Reddy district, committed suicide on Monday. August 14. A dharna was held under the auspices of ABVP, demanding action against Sri Chaitanya Colege, which caused the student’s death. When the ABVP leaders tried to enter the college, the police stopped them. ABVP leaders protested by sitting in front of the college gate. All of them were arrested by the police and taken to Adibhatla police station.
ABVP district leader Kandadi Sreeram fumed that corporate colleges were set up only to kill the students, If students are dying in corporate colleges every week, it is outrageous that the education department and the government are not taking any action. they demanded a proper inquiry into the deaths of the students and action against those responsible. Otherwise, they warned that they will fight against the corporate colleges. (Hydnow)
